Chenopodium album is a fast-growing weedy annual plant in the genus Chenopodium. Though cultivated in some regions, the plant is elsewhere considered a weed. The growth season of leafy vegetables is normally 20 to 25 days. They are high in fiber, protein and are loaded with both Vitamins A and C. It is also high in manganese, calcium, copper and has a bit of iron, and is high in both omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.
