Category:

Teak is a tropical hardwood tree species in the family Lamiaceae. Teak is the common name for the tropical hardwood tree species, Tectona grandis, which grows to over 130 feet tall. Teak wood tends to be golden or medium brown. Its color darkens over time. Teak wood has a leather-like smell when it is freshly milled and is particularly valued for its durability and water resistance. Teak is in high demand because of its properties. It is durable, water-pest- and rot-resistant, has only minor shrinkage, doesn't corrode with steel. Plantation Teak trees are harvested in 10 to 20-year cycles. The wood is used for boat building, exterior construction, veneer, furniture, carving, turnings, and other small wood projects. Teak wood is used for furniture, windows, doors, cots, shipbuilding, and all construction works. We are selling the seeds of teak trees at affordable prices.
